What would you think about a cookie or bar that contains fish oil, green tea, and tons of great protein? You might be intrigued, maybe a little grossed out, or perhaps you’d be dying to try it.
When I saw Boundless Nutrition’s products, I was intrigued. Could a cookie or bar possibly taste good with fish oil and green tea in it? Could this all natural bar with healthful and organic ingredients be all that it says it is?
Hmmm….what do you think?
My fingers were crossed as I opened the Dark Chocolate Peanut Wellness Bar. With 300 mg of DHA and EPA fish oils, 14 grams of protein, 150 mg of Green Tea antioxidants, 100% whole grains, prebiotics, and only 190 calories and 8 grams of sugar, I really wanted this to be my new favorite afternoon snack. As I bit into it, it tasted quite good. Nice smooth peanut butter and chocolate taste. Yummy! As I quickly finished the bar, I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted so good. With a slight aftertaste, I gave it a thumbs up!
The next day, I tried the Peanut Butter Perfect FIT cookie. Built off many of the same healthy ingredients with 10 grams of protein and only 150 calories and 7 grams of sugar, I had high hopes and was not disappointed. I really really liked this cookie! Two thumbs up!
With flavors like Dark Chocolate Mint, Mocha, Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Macadamia, and Blueberry Pomegranate Crunch, there is a favorite for everyone. My personal fave was the Mocha bar. Hmmmm…hmmmm…good, and so good for you!
